I love a bargain.

Like most women, especially of the 'craft orientated' variety, I love a bargain! I've just come back from the 3 day sale at Patchwork with Gail B, where I could have bought the whole shop. If only...

But I have come home excitedly with these 3 little beauties....

Instead of $51 for all three Cornucopia charm packs, I got them for a total of $27. Words aren't suficient to express how ecstatic I was, and still am.

I also bought this darling bundle of joy, the Faded Memories range. Which is one of my all time favourite fabric ranges. Instead of $25, it was down to $18.

My problem though? I want to use them. Now. Nevermind what other projects I have on the go. Must be patient. Which is unlikely.

You know what I also love, apart from sales at patchwork shops?

A whack of neatly cut squares...

Which was originally this bundle of fat eights.

This is what I did yesterday, when I should have been doing some hand sewing.
If you don't hear from me for awhile, it's because I'm in the sewing room. Love.it.

Oh, and if you can, make sure you check out the sale of Gail B's. It is well worth it. Trust me. I'm working there on saturday, so I may just come home with some more goodies. Today I saved a total of $50 on all I bought. Can't get any better than that.
I also got the prize I will be using for my 100th post giveaway, which will be happening in 10 posts! How exciting!

What great bargains you got, Sam. I was looking at a beautiful fat qtr that i had bought at the craft fair when it came to Newcastle. The fabric is a pink pattern with tiny Japanese ladies printed on it- just gorgeous- and I had folded inside it, the name of the stall I had bought it from- and it was from Gail B's. What a coincidence.:)
