Apologies.

Wish I could make this a happier update post!
I've had to take a bit of a break from my craft and blogging of late. Not just because I've been flat out busy with things, but due to family concerns. My dad has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so we are all in a state of shock I think. He has been having tests etc for a few weeks now, but today we just recieved the news.

As you can imagine, sewing is the last thing on my mind at the moment. However, I am sorry for not updating earlier with the measurments for the Homespun Stitch a long. Please forgive me!

I feel like I haven't been doing my blog any justice of late, and I would much rather not post anything than be forever posting 'I'm sorry!' messages!!

Week 7: Tulip.

Week 8: Home.
Finished size of stitchery block is 3x4".

Sorry to hear about your Dad. My Dad has had the same problem for about 12 years but has it under control at the moment. PSI down to almost nothing. Blogging should be secondary to real life. Life doesn't apologise for all it's vagaries so why should you. You will never regret the love you give your family. Cherrie

I don't think you need to apologize. I think everyone knows the feelings involved with a cancer diagnosis in the family. I hope your father is able to fight it and that the rest of your family stays well too.

Take all the time you need to deal with family stuff and we'll all be here when you get back. I will add your dad to my prayers and keep your whole family in mind. Blogging should be fun and not an obligation so let it go until it is fun again, OK? Big hug.

Blogging is something to do when there is not much else to do... Real life is far more important and far more valuable than the internet... However just know you and your family have lots of love and prayers being sent your way at the moment.

Please don't apologize to us. I remember when we went thru this with Dad. Fortunately it was found in time and was never an issue again. We'll keep you in our prayers that the same will happen with your Dad.

Don't ever apologize for living your life. My dad had prostrate cancer and lived many more years after his surgery. He was lucky enough that they got it all and he had no treatments. I will include your dad, you and all your family in my prayers. Take care. Hugs
